Once 1st payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Email your cancellation request to vacationwithjames@gmail.com with your invoice number, full name, and date of travel. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 3 business days, please call (689) 287-2292 to ensure your information was received. Please note that a cancellation does not always result in a refund. If you cancel your booking without insurance, after final payment/due date you will forfeit all monies paid. If you cancel your arrangements prior to your final payment/due date with or without insurance, your right to a partial refund may be limited.
Cruise Terms & Conditions:
1. ALL deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
2. ALL rates are based on double occupancy. In the event your roommate chooses to cancel or you are traveling solo you will be responsible for 200% of the cruise fare.
3. Monthly payments are expected to keep your reservation in good standing.
4. In the event TRAVEL PROTECTION is NOT purchased and you cancel within the specified time frame ALL monies paid will be refunded per Carnival Cruise Line Cancellation Policy minus the initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
5. Travelers 21 & Under MUST be accompanied by someone 25 and older.
6. Guests are required to be 21 years of age (on embarkation day) to travel on their own. Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will result in denied boarding and no compensation will be provided at embarkation.
7. Transportation to or from cruise port will NOT be provided.
Carnival Travel Documentation:
Carnival Cruise Lines strongly recommends all guests travel with a valid passport. However, as of June 1, 2009, U.S. citizens embarking on a cruise that both originates and terminates at the same U.S. port are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship, and if 16 and over, a photo ID is also required. If you are married and have taken the last name of your spouse your marriage certificate will be needed as well to show proof of your name change. Guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation. Once again ALL guests need proper proof of citizenship in order to travel and failure to present a valid document at check in will result in denied boarding and no refund will be issued.

WHEREAS, Vacation With James is a fully-appointed full service Travel Agency who is authorized to engage in the general business of arranging, planning, reserving and handling Carnival Cruises and other ancillary services. Vacation With James shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses or damages in connection with terrorist activities, social or social or labor unrest, mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations, diseases, local laws, terrorists acts, bankruptcy or cessation of supplier or carrier services, climatic conditions, Acts of God, delays, changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health related problems before or while in-transit to (e.g., an accident on the way to a tour), during, and after a tour, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of Carnival Cruise Lines control. There will be no refunds for cancellations made 90 days or less before departure, including cancellations due to actual or threatened terrorist events. It is the travelers responsibility to protect their purchase and travel insurance is strongly recommended. Traveler is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against these risks. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency.
